To promote close collaboration across diverse fields of microbiology, including medicine, environmental science, food science, veterinary science, material science, and engineering, under the framework of One-Health;
To develop innovative and transformative solutions to critical microbial-related issues such as infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance (AMR);
To facilitate the translation of microbiological research discoveries into real-world applications, such as advancing food manufacturing, developing novel functional foods, and promoting vaccine and drug discovery;
To build a high-quality talent hub for biotechnology through interdisciplinary training programs, global partnerships and practical research opportunities.
