Prof. ZHU Zi-Qiang visited COMAC on 16 July 2026 for a full-day exchange on research collaboration and future development opportunities. The visit included a presentation, discussion sessions, a special lecture, and technical exchange on electrical and flight-control collaboration.
Prof. Zhu (FREng) is Chair Professor of Electrical Machines and Control Systems in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at PolyU. He was elected to the 2025 Class of Fellows of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI). An internationally acclaimed scholar and engineering leader, he has made outstanding contributions to electrical engineering research and its practical applications, with over 200 patents and more than 60,000 citations to his academic work. He previously spent 38 years at the University of Sheffield in the UK before joining PolyU in 2025. Prof. Zhu was also appointed as one of RILA’s academic committee members in June 2026, further strengthening the Institute’s academic development and industry-academia collaboration.

諸自強教授於2026年7月16日到訪中國商用飛機有限責任公司，就科研合作及未來發展方向進行全天交流。當日行程包括參觀、座談交流、專題講座，以及電氣與飛控專業合作交流 。
諸教授（英國皇家工程院院士）現任香港理工大學電機及電子工程學系電機及控制系統講座教授，更獲選為 2025 年度美國發明家科學院院士, 是享譽國際的學者及工程領袖，長期致力於電機工程科研創新及實際應用，擁有超過200項專利，其學術著作被引用次數逾60,000次。諸教授曾於英國謝菲爾德大學任職38年，並於2025年加入理大。諸教授亦於2026年6月獲委任為RILA學術委員會成員之一，進一步鞏固研究院的學術發展及產學合作。
