Vision

To become a leading institute for the research and application of Chinese Medicine (CM) treatment and practices for the improvement of the people’s health and well-being.

Mission

To conduct high impact research to provide scientific evidence to the traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory for better understanding by the research community, medical community and the general public.
To foster inter-disciplinary and translational research of CM-based drugs, practices and other applications within the PolyU community
To build up a hub for idea exchange and young scientists training in PolyU, HK and the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
To advocate the application of CM in primary care.
To provide one-stop service for CM-based projects.
