During 19-20 February 2023, RC-CSC arranged the “1st Carbon-Strategic Catalysis International Conference cum Inauguration Ceremony of Research Centre for Carbon-Strategic Catalysis” in PolyU. This international conference focuses on carbon-strategic catalysis and energy research by inviting global frontier scientists. We have invited 3 Members of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), 2 Fellows of the Australian Academy of Science as well as four most impactful scientists in catalysis research. This conference has attracted over 200 attendees to join from onsite and online platforms from all over the world.
These frontier scientists in related fields have shared their advanced research and insightful opinions on carbon strategic-related research. This conference has attracted over 100 researchers, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students from different universities to join this conference on-site in PolyU. In the meantime, over 150 global scientists and researchers have joined this conference from the online platform. This conference has achieved great success in promoting interdisciplinary collaborations, innovation, and communication for the carbon neutrality goal, which not only reveals the good recognition of the RC-CSC but also further increases the academic impact of PolyU.
