Four PolyU students who were awarded the Innovation and Technology Scholarship, which is jointly organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission, HSBC, and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. The students’ achievements were recognised at an Award Presentation Ceremony held on 13 June.

 

The awarded students not only have outstanding academic achievements, but also a strong passion for innovation and technology. They are Kwok Hin Chi, Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Enterprise Engineering with Management; So Cheuk Yin, Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Medical Laboratory Science; Tang Killian, Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nursing; and Wong Sze Lam, Bachelor of Sciences (Hons) in Property Management.

 

The Innovation and Technology Scholarship selects 25 outstanding undergraduates every year. Each awardee will receive up to $150,000 for participation in various elite-training programmes. It is hoped that awardees can widen their international/Mainland exposure and gain industry experience, as well as pursue their dreams with their innovative ideas and help create positive changes in society.
