Achievements in advocating Fintech education
The University’s efforts in promoting financial technology education was recently recognised at the IFTA Fintech Achievement Award 2018 with the presentation of an honorary award (fintech education category).
PolyU has been conducting Fintech related training and research to support industry development in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. In relation, the AMTD FinTech Centre of PolyU Faculty of Business was established in April 2018. In addition, to nurture financial technology talent, the University will launch the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the 2019/20 academic year.
