The flying vehicle industry in China is soaring, with the "low-altitude economy" emerging as a national growth driver. Prof. Huang Hailong, Assistant Professor of Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering of PolyU and Core Member of PReCIT, shared his insights into the development of the flying vehicle industry in China on RTHK’s “China Perspectives.” Prof. Huang discussed how various Chinese firms are dedicated to developing high-energy density batteries. New technologies now enable 20 to 30 minutes of operational time with batteries of identical size and weight, leaping from the previous 10 minutes.
