E-learning Module for Students
A 10-hour web-based e-learning module for students entitled “The Concept and Practices of Service-Learning” was launched in Semester 2 of 2014/15. It aims to introduce to students the concept of Service-Learning (SL) and equip them with the basic knowledge, attitudes and skills required for planning and implementing a SL project effectively. It includes an introduction, five instructional units (see below) with readings and other learning activities embedded in each of them, as well as an End-of-Module Test.
