Kim believes that education is the key to positive social change and transformation that fosters a better tomorrow. She joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2016 under the Global Youth Leadership Institute (subsequently known as the Service-Learning and Leadership Office, SLLO) and organised cross-institutional international youth leadership programmes and events. Currently she works closely with departments and faculties in PolyU and provides administrative support to service-learning subjects and its arrangements in the university.

She holds a BA of Linguistics and Language Technology, and a MA in Language Studies from City University of Hong Kong. Yet she trusts that she has acquired a lot of her skills ‘on the go’. Before joining SLLO, she has worked in different sectors such as language research, public and corporate relations, event management, and office operations and coordination.
