An Empowerment Series organised by The Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC), Hong Kong Trade Development Council, offers an exclusive company visit to DHL Central Asia Hub at Hong Kong International Airport. Led by Prof. Anthony Pang, our Associate Professor & Associate Head, this visit provided students with an invaluable opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the aviation logistics sector and strengthen their industry readiness.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art facilities of one of the world's leading logistics providers. They deepened their understanding of cutting-edge developments in air cargo transportation, courier and express services, supply chain management, and e-commerce logistics—learning how DHL efficiently manages high-volume, time-sensitive shipments.
The tour also featured a guided walkthrough of the warehouse operations, where students could observe operational processes up close and learn about the logistics management strategies that keep global supply chains moving smoothly.
We sincerely thank the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and DHL Central Asia Hub for their generous support and collaboration. Their dedication to nurturing future industry leaders and sharing valuable insights greatly enhances our students' learning experience and inspires the next generation of talent in logistics and supply chain management.
