What you will learn:
  • Make use of machine learning techniques (text mining) to classify documents into specific classes

  • Get hands-on experience on various steps for implementing machine learning

  • Hands-on coursework will be provided to practice your skill

 

Course outline:

  1. How to use classification for text mining?

  2. Preprocess and prepare the textual data

  3. Create training and testing set

  4. Train the machine learning models using the textual data

  5. Test the models and conduct model evaluation

  6. Improve performance

  7. Make a classification for new documents
