PolyU and EVOC Partner to Establish Joint Research Laboratory Supporting Greater Bay Area Growth

On 13 May in Shenzhen, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and EVOC Group entered into a strategic partnership to establish the Industrial Intelligent Terminal Technology Joint Innovation Laboratory (工業人工智能終端技術聯合創新實驗室). This milestone collaboration aims to advance the application of intelligent industrial and frontier technologies, with a focus on developing next-generation industrial intelligent terminal products over the next three years.

This partnership is a key initiative under China’s innovation-driven development strategy, harnessing the complementary strengths of PolyU and EVOC to drive high-quality economic growth in the Greater Bay Area and beyond.

Following the signing ceremony, representatives from both PolyU and EVOC showcased their latest technological achievements and engaged in discussions on the future of industrial AI. Guests also toured EVOC’s facilities to gain deeper insights into the latest developments in industrial control and artificial intelligence.
