Summary
The University has embarked on the PolyU Education 4.0 (E4.0) initiative – an AI-empowered, student-centred learning and teaching model that envisions a future where technology supports interactive, flexible, and personalised learning.
In support of PolyU E4.0, the “Education Transformation and Innovation” (ETI) Salon Series has been launched to provide a forum for colleagues to explore the future of teaching and learning at PolyU. Topics include AI and digital transformation, innovative pedagogies, and curriculum reform aimed at enhancing students’ competencies.
Following the launch of the PolyU Education 4.0 initiative about one year ago, Prof. Cao is pleased to present the “PolyU Education 4.0: Blueprint” at the upcoming eighth ETI Salon. The event details are as follows:
Host and Speaker: Professor Jiannong Cao, VP(EDU)
Topic: PolyU Education 4.0: Blueprint
Date: 29 July 2026 (Wednesday)
Time: 4.30 – 6.00 pm
Venue: Room FJ301, 3/F, FJ Wing
The PolyU Education 4.0 Blueprint sets out the University’s institutional vision, goals, governance, framework, strategic actions, and performance targets for educational AI and digital transformation. It also outlines the associated initiatives, accountability mechanisms and strategic partnerships.
We would be delighted to hear your views, comments and suggestions on the blueprint and the way forward during the discussion session.
Your participation will be invaluable as we work together to shape the future of education at PolyU.
For planning purposes, please register by 27 July 2026.
