Visit to Tso Hin Kee

Tso Hin Kee (THK) was founded by Mr Tso Pak Ming in 1938. Mr Tso chose to feature a Penguin as the brand's logo after being inspired by one of his toddler sons walking like a Penguin. With a history of over 70 years, THK has grown from a local family business into a company with global distribution.

SHTMAA will arrange a visit to THK and meet its owner to learn about the wisdom embodied in the long history of this Hong Kong brand. The tour will end with a lunch at Tao Heung Museum of Food Culture.

The tour is tentatively planned on 15 October 2016 (Saturday). Space is limited. Watch out when registration opens!

Dragon Boat Fun Ride

Look to enjoy cheers during a fun-filled weekend with family?

SHTM will organize a fun-filled dragon boat riding family event for alumni and their kids on a Saturday in November. It will be held at the Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association training center in Shatin. Participants will be introduced to the history and legend of Dragon Boat, and have a chance to practice the paddling technique and get on the boats rowing in the Shing Mun River.

This 3-hour workshop and ride will provide you and your family an opportunity to learn paddling the traditional dragon boat and having lots of fun! Stay tuned for details.
