Bring-your-own (BYO) food/beverage container for takeaway meals at the Communal Student Canteen (3/F, Communal Building) to perform a transaction and you will receive a receipt with a one-time QR code. Scan it via the GreenCoin app to earn Coin. ONE (1) QR code on the receipt will mean ONE (1) Coin to be earned. One transaction accepts only one food or beverage container.

Support plastic recycling using the reverse vending machines

Drop a clean plastic beverage bottle into the Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) and you will be shown a QR code on the machine’s display panel. Scan it via the GreenCoin app to earn Coin. ONE (1) plastic beverage bottle will mean ONE (1) Coin to be earned.
