Aims and Characteristics

This 4-year full-time scheme is designed to provide students with solid training in mathematical, statistical and computer programming skills, covering key areas such as artificial intelligence, data science and analytics, as well as applications in finance and other domains. It offers flexible pathways to suit different interests and career aspirations.

This Scheme comprises the following three undergraduate Major programmes:

BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence (subject to approval) and BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence with Financial Technology focus on foundations of machine learning and artificial intelligence, and modern topics such as neural networks, computer vision, large language models, generative models, among others. Students pursuing the Financial Technology specialism (BScAIFT) will further apply AI knowledge to finance related contexts.
