Academic Progress Awards for students with special educational needs

New awards in the academic year 2025/26:

• Kwan Kin Sang Inclusive Education Academic Progress Award
• Lau Ka Mei Inclusive Education Academic Progress Award

Purpose

• These awards aim to recognise and encourage students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) for significant academic progress.

Value of Award

• An award of $10,000 for each awardee 

Eligibility and Key Selection Criteria

• All full-time undergraduate students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who declared SEN to SAO in 2024/25
• Both local and non-local students
• Non first-year students
• The Award shall be awarded to SEN students who show the largest improvement in Cumulative GPA in Semester One of the 2025/26 academic year as compared to that of the 2024/25 academic year

Application Method

• To be announced in end 2025 (at the end of Semester One in 2025/26)
