The Hangzhou WIE Programme aims to provide PolyU students opportunities to gain real work experience and build professional network through internships supported by PolyU alumni employers.

Duration: 6 weeks (between May and August 2025; please note that each location may have a different start and end dates)
The HK$2,000 Programme Fee is waived for the 2025 Hangzhou WIE Programme to provide you with flexibility in determining the start date of your internship with the employer. However, please note that you are responsible for all arrangements and costs associated with completing the Programme, including but not limited to visa application, airfare, accommodation, insurance, and other incidental expenses. You may apply for OWS funding to support your internship if you are eligible. For further information on OWS guidelines, please click here.
Upon successful completion of the WIE programme, together with the timely as well as satisfactory completion and submission of all the required documents, participants will be eligible to receive a learning incentive of HK$2,300.
Eligibility:
- Year 2 or above, full-time students of UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes
- Aged 18 or above with valid travel document(s)
- Able to communicate in Putonghua in a work setting
