Brief Biosketch
Prof. Kam K.H. NG is currently an Associate Head and Associate Professor in the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering (AAE) at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HKSAR. His research interests include air traffic management, unmanned aircraft system traffic management, aviation meteorology, data-driven optimisation, operations research and deep learning. His research team secured over $38 million HKD external research grants over the past 5 years, and he has authored and co-authored paper in leading journals, such as Reliability Engineering & System Safety; Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice; Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies; Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review; Journal of Air Transport Management; Transport Policy, etc.
伍淦鴻教授現為香港特別行政區香港理工大學航空及民航工程學系(AAE)副系主任及副教授。他的研究興趣包括空中交通管理、無人機系統交通管理、航空氣象、數據驅動優化、運籌學與深度學習。過去五年,他的研究團隊獲得了超過三千八百萬港元的科研資助,並在多個國際頂級期刊上發表或合作發表論文,包括Reliability Engineering & System Safety; Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice; Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies; Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review; Journal of Air Transport Management; Transport Policy等等。
