This year, the theme of the Symposium is "Teaching and Learning Excellence – Past, Present and Future". The highlights of the Symposium include a keynote speech by distinguished Professor Keith Trigwell from the University of Sydney, an external consultant engaged by the UGC to review teaching development initiatives in 2016-19, and sharing by UGC teaching award recipients and external education award winners from across institutions. In addition, there will be parallel sessions in which TDG and inter-institutional learning and teaching project leaders from UGC-funded institutions will present their project findings. This event will be open to all UGC-funded institutions as a celebration of teaching excellence.
