International summit to drive innovation for greater impact
More than 200 participants from 34 countries, including influential higher education and industry leaders, entrepreneurs and policy-makers around the globe, gather in Hong Kong for the inaugural Times Higher Education (THE) Innovation & Impact Summit. Co-hosted by PolyU and THE, a key celebratory event of the University’s 80th anniversary, the Summit inspires participants with a series of thought-provoking panel discussions on best practices and case studies to empower universities' economic and social impact through innovative research and teaching. Another highlight was the pre-summit workshop, PolyU Showcase, where delegates were taken on a journey through the University’s impactful research and innovations in four niche areas, solving problems, creating hopes and benefitting mankind.
