Biography
Mengfei joined the CNERC in September 2018 as a PhD student in PolyU. Her research interesting is in the mechanical properties of high strength steels, the welding technology and the residual stresses patterns in high strength steel materials. Her research topic is the experimental and numerical investigations on combined compression and bending of high strength steel welded members, mainly about the structural instability of high strength Q690 steel portal frames. She has research experience in structural engineering and building maintenance.
