PolyU has worked closely with Tongji University on the Joint supervision scheme of PhD students which has admitted close to 40 students. Other collaborative projects include Joint Summer School, Creativity Summer Camp and Competition, Shanghai-Hong Kong Boot Camp on Entrepreneurship and Global Student Network of Entrepreneurship. In addition, its closest partners in Shanghai also include other leading universities, such as Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University. Activities and programmes in Shanghai surrounds the themes of environmental sustainability, innovative design and entrepreneurship development.
Shanghai is an attractive city to students. Each year over 200 students join activities and programmes in Shanghai which include student exchange, study tours, internship training, entrepreneurial camps, general education courses and service learning programmes. All these provide students with valued opportunities to study at renowned Shanghai universities, get fascinating cross-cultural experience and make friends with peers from around the world.
