Applied Mathematics Scholarship for Outstanding Taught Postgraduates

To give recognition to outstanding students who are studying our taught postgraduate programmes, the Department of Applied Mathematics (AMA) sets up a one-off scholarship for outstanding students studying our Taught Postgraduate programmes.

Scholarship Amount

HKD10,000 per scholarship (one-off)

Selection Criteria

1. A potential student candidate whose average GPA of the best 4 subjects should be at least 3.7 or above. If the candidates share the same average GPA, then the overall GPA will be considered (we will count the 9-credit dissertation as one subject only).
2. A potential student candidate should have completed at least two semesters.

The Department will identify the outstanding candidates and the scholarship panel will inform the awardees in around June/July every year.
