Led by Professor Miranda Lou, Executive Vice President, Professor Edwin Cheng, Dean of Faculty of Business, Professor Lu Haitian, Director of Mainland Development, Ms Amy Li, Assistant Director of Mainland Development joined hands with representatives from ten Mainland alumni networks and alumni from Chongqing to witness the establishment of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Chongqing Alumni Network on 14 June 2025.
The inaugural general meeting of PolyU Chongqing Alumni Network and “PolyU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum" were held, followed by the inauguration ceremony cum networking dinner.
President Professor Jin-Guang Teng extended his warmest congratulations on the establishment of Chongqing Alumni Network via video during the ceremony. Professor Lou delivered a welcome speech, acknowledging this significant milestone.
Following that, the appointment letters were presented to the first executive committee members of Chongqing Alumni Network. Mr Li Yiming, President of Chongqing Alumni Network, shared their initiatives and goals in the future. The event concluded successfully amidst laughter and joyful conversations.
