Biography

Dr. Ofir Gefen is a Research Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His primary research interests are Entrepreneurship, Financial Accounting, Financial Misconduct, and Disclosure Choices, where he employs Randomized Control Trials, specifically Field Experiments, as his primary research design for identification.

Before that, Ofir was a management consultant and a former law professional, having worked in Singapore and Israel. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Ph.D. in Finance and holds an LL.M. and an LL.B (cum laude) from Raichman University in Israel.
