Avionics Laboratory

The Avionics Laboratory aims to provide a simulation platform to our students to learn and appreciate avionics system using on general aircraft. This laboratory is equipped with one set of avionics trainer consists of various avionics and diagnosis instruments, such as a Very High Frequency (VHF) Omni-Directional Range (VOR) indicator, a Global Positioning System (GPS), an altimeter, a glideslope indicator, an automatic direction finder (ADF), a transponder (aeronautics), and a ramp tester, etc... In Avionics Laboratory, students will have opportunities to gain different hand on experience on avionics system, such as using and troubleshooting various avionics instruments using aeronautical transponder and ramp tester.
