Summary

We are pleased to invite AAE Undergraduate Students (Year 2 or above) to a unique Air Traffic Control Simulation Workshop, designed to offer first-hand experience in the world of air traffic control.

Through realistic scenarios, you will step into the role of an air traffic controller and gain basic knowledge and skills in both Radar Control and Tower Control.

In the simulator, you will:

  • Radar Control: manage aircraft arriving and departing Hong Kong airspace, practice sequencing and conflict resolution, and give instructions using standard ATC phraseology.
  • Tower Control: deliver departure clearances, guide aircraft taxiing, issue take-off and landing instructions, and coordinate runway crossings at Hong Kong International Airport.

No prior experience is required. This is a great opportunity to learn by doing, in a safe and supportive environment.

* This workshop is exclusive for AAE undergraduate students *
