Academic Advising Funding (Second Round)

The CoP Academic Advising Funding is set up to promote quality academic advising in academic departments. We have supported 6 projects in the first round, from Apr to Dec 2014. CoP: AA now offers a second round of funding for application by Departments, the maximum grant for each project is HK$10,000.

Results of Applications:
The second round CoP-Academic Advising Funding was opened for application in January 2015. Our funding selection panel has approved six projects and released the result in March 2015. Successful applicants held activities related to academic advising during April to September 2015. Details of the projects are as follows:

Workshop: Orientation for Freshmen, Academic Advising topic workshops: Minor study, Overseas exchange and study concentration, Pun Choi Dinner, Team Building activity, Meeting with academic advisors and programme leader on subject registration

Workshop: Title: ITC Academic Advising Orientation for Senior Year Admitted Students 2015/16, and Training Pack for ITC Student Ambassadors 2015/16

  • Amount of Funding: maximum HK$10,000*
  • Announcement of Selection: By the end of March 2015
  • Duration of Project: 1 April - 30 September 2015
  • Submission of Report: 16 October 2015
  • Application Deadline: 30 January 2015
*Maximum of two projects can be funded from the same School/ Department
