Cover story: The Chief Executive Mr Tung Chee-hwa in his recent Policy Address has again shed light on the importance of developing a future in which respect for our environment will enhance our prosperity and the quality of our own lives. The cover story looks at the new plans of the Research Centre for Urban Environmental Technology and Management at PolyU, which has been at the forefront of research into protecting the environment.
