3D Modeling Skills for 3D Printing
Course no.: 01-01-EXC-11131-A
3D printing is a powerful tool used to transform digital models into physical objects, which is highly useful for people who want to create something that meets specific requirements. However, to effectively use this tool, basic modelling skills are required. In this course, participants will learn the basic 3D modelling skills and create 3D models by open source 3D CAD software, i.e. Shapr3D, which is favorable for 3D printing physical output.
Teaching Mode: Face-to-face
Medium of Instruction: English
Quota: 15 per class
- Obtain the basic modelling skills to create 3D digital models
- Understand the basic principle of 3D printing and apply appropriate modelling technique for 3D printing output
- Evaluate the printability and then select and adjust the corresponding processing parameters for successful 3D printing output
