What is it ?
PolyU offers an innovative, technology-driven academic environment that fosters national pride, social responsibility, and a global perspective. Our Bachelor's Degree Scheme is a new initiative designed to help students align their studies with their passions. It provides extensive choices and flexibility, allowing students to explore their academic interests before deciding on their undergraduate study pathway.
All students in the Bachelor’s Degree Scheme begin with a Common Year One curriculum alongside students from departmental schemes/programmes. Towards the end of the first year of study, Bachelor’s Degree Scheme students can secure a degree programme through a ranking assessment, considering their entrance qualification score, Year One GPA, and interview performance. This process also applies to students admitted through departmental schemes/programmes who wish to switch to another programme within the same discipline.
Students can choose to enrol in any of the following schemes as long as they have met the specified entrance requirements, including:
- Bachelor’s Degree Scheme in Interdisciplinary Studies
- Bachelor’s Degree Scheme in Business Administration
- Bachelor’s Degree Scheme in Construction and Environment
- Bachelor’s Degree Scheme in Computer and Mathematical Sciences
- Bachelor’s Degree Scheme in Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree Scheme in Humanities
- Bachelor’s Degree Scheme in Science
