Profile

Renee Leung obtained her Bachelor of Social Work at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Master of Art in Student Activities in Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. As a registered social worker with 10 years of experience with youth in vocational education, she believes that everyone has the potential to develop. Before joining the Office of Service-Learning (subsequently renamed Service-Learning and Leadership Office, SLLO) in 2012, she had worked in the Student Affairs Office for 4 years coordinating student development programmes, such as the Community Service Learning Programme and Learning Enhancement Programme.

Renee organises staff development activities on service-learning for academics, staff and students in PolyU as well as academics/practitioners of other local and overseas institutes, such as International Conference/Symposium and workshops/seminars on Service-Learning. She works closely with faculty members in planning, executing, and assessing international and local service-learning projects. She also is the liaison officer of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. Renee loves to work with students, she has been engaging in Storytellers Programme (previously, it called Student Journalist Programme) since 2017.
