IMPACT2023 to Explore Tourism and Hospitality in the Post-Pandemic Era
The IMPACT2023 conference, dedicated to bridging theory and practice in tourism and hospitality, is organised by the SHTM and its Hospitality and Tourism Research Centre in collaboration with STR. It will take place at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong on 7 and 8 December 2023.

Taking the theme of "Tourism and Hospitality in the Post-Pandemic Era", IMPACT2023 will be a platform for industry executives, government officials and academics to interact and discuss trends and insights, share research findings and practices, explore creative pathways and envisage strategies to achieve sustainability, revitalisation and resilience after the pandemic. The conference will have the following objectives:
  • To promote impactful research that will improve practice in the fields of tourism and hospitality, especially in the post-pandemic era;
  • To build capacity in the community by enhancing awareness and facilitating interactions amongst academics, industry practitioners, government offices and administrations, NGOs and organisations; and
  • To optimise the diffusion and utilisation of research through innovative and creative modes of communication.
