New Dates Announced for the 19th Asia Pacific Forum for Graduate Students Research in Tourism
Duy Tan University and the SHTM, co-organisers of the 19th Asia Pacific Forum for Graduate Students Research in Tourism (APF), have announced new dates for the forum. Rescheduled to 28-30 November 2020, the APF will be held in Danang, Vietnam.

The aim of the APF is to provide a "research forum" for postgraduate students and faculty members engaged in research and postgraduate education in hospitality and tourism. The focus of the forum is to facilitate the exchange of information through research and networking amongst forum participants to foster collaborative research and academic exchanges.

The 14th Asia Tourism Forum to Connect Asia and Europe in Tourism

Co-hosted by Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (LMU-Munich), the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and the SHTM, the biennial Asia Tourism Forum (ATF) will take place on 7-9 October 2020 in Munich, Germany. Taking the theme of "Connecting Asia and Europe in Tourism", the ATF 2020 will enable researchers, industry practitioners, government officials and students to share and discuss the latest trends and research results pertaining to the development of tourism within and outside Asia.
SHTM Joins COTRI in Launching Online China Tourism Training Programme

The SHTM has combined its expertise with that of the China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI), an outstanding research institute focusing on Chinese outbound tourism, to provide a comprehensive online training programme, China Tourism Training (CTT), for hospitality and tourism professionals worldwide working with the Chinese outbound tourism market.
SHTM and Grapea to Jointly Offer Wine Educational Programme Online

The SHTM has joined forces with Grapea & Co. (Grapea) to offer an exceptional e-learning programme for hospitality and food and beverage practitioners, wine enthusiasts, students and academics in wine-related disciplines, and anyone else aspiring to be part of the global wine industry.


ACHIEVEMENTS AND RECOGNITION

Professor Haiyan Song was appointed as an Honorary Fellow of CAUTHE in recognition of his contribution to tourism and hospitality education and research at the 30th Annual CAUTHE Conference in Auckland, New Zealand on 10-13 February 2020.
