Learn Anytime Anywhere with SHTM MicroMasters in International Hospitality Management

The SHTM's MicroMasters in International Hospitality Management (MM), a unique and highly successful Master's level programme offered on the world-renowned edX online learning platform, continues to attract learners from around the world. With over 50,000 learners from 175 countries - 700 of whom chose verification of an official course certificate - this innovative online programme is a credit-bearing accelerated Master's level offering that can stand alone or count towards entry to a traditional SHTM Master's degree.

First launched in January 2017, the MM programme takes a fresh approach to bridging the knowledge gap between higher education and the workplace. It prepares learners for careers that are in demand today by offering expertise in the dynamic field of international hospitality management through four courses: "Luxury Management", "Hospitality and Tourism Technology and Innovation", "Managing Marketing in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry" and "Managing Human Resources in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry".

The MM allows learners to pursue an accelerated on-campus Master of Science (MSc) to fast-track their career. Learners who have successfully completed the MM and are admitted to the SHTM's on-campus MSc in International Hospitality Management (https://shtm.polyu.edu.hk/ihm) programme can transfer 9 of the 31 credits required.
