Student Members of PolyU Council
Student members are elected into office to serve as representatives in PolyU Council.
Election exercise has been conducted among two categories of the full-time students to return ONE undergraduate student and ONE postgraduate student for appointment to Council from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024.
Campus-wide promotional campaign was driven to encourage active participation among eligible electors. The e-Polling rate exceeded the minimum requirement, one-tenth of the total number of electors from each of the above categories.

Student Representatives of University Committees and Institutional Services
Student engagement in university governance is facilitated in all aspects from university health and dental services to campus facility and development, from academic registry services to library services, and so on.
The Student Development Section, SAO, coordinated the selection of student representatives to serve in University committees, such as Catering Committee, Culture Promotion Committee, Health and Safety Committee, Student Development and Affairs Committee, etc. as well as the appointment of student representatives to serve as a bridging role to provide valuable inputs from student perspectives towards institutional services.
The student representatives have been appointed for the term from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024.
