Career Fairs

CPS organises career fairs to let students have a better picture of the job and internship opportunities available in the market. The fairs also provide valuable opportunities for students to connect with potential employers, which will help them in their job search. Know more about our fairs and events.

The third Virtual Career Fair was successfully held from 22 to 25 March 2022. It was a one-stop online platform connecting students with potential employers via a virtual environment and providing plenty of graduate job and internship opportunities for students’ applications. A total of 233 employers from over 10 industries and sectors participated in the four-day Fair, and around 6,500 job vacancies were provided.

The Fair also featured live chat sessions for students to interact with employers and get latest job information instantly. In addition, 48 online career talks were conducted by senior executives/human resources experts who shared their professional insights into different career-related aspects, including industry trends and career information. To help students optimise their CV and job-hunting strategies, around 60 online career advising sessions were arranged.

The second Virtual Career Fair was successfully held from 26 to 29 October 2021. It was a one-stop online platform connecting students with potential employers via a virtual environment and providing plenty of graduate job and internship opportunities for students’ applications. A total of 144 employers from over 10 industries and sectors participated in the four-day Fair, and around 4,500 job vacancies were provided.

The Fair also featured live chat sessions for students to interact with employers and get latest job information instantly. In addition, 46 online career talks were conducted by senior executives/human resources experts who shared their professional insights into different career-related aspects, including industry trends and career information. To help students optimise their CV and job-hunting strategies, around 60 online career advising sessions were arranged.

Successfully held from 30 March to 1 April 2021, the Virtual Career Fair 2021 was a one-stop online platform connecting students with potential employers via a virtual environment and providing plenty of graduate job and internship opportunities for students’ applications. A total of 121 employers from over 10 industries and sectors participated in the three-day Fair, and over 2,500 job opportunities were provided.

The Fair also featured career talks conducted by seasoned speakers/senior executives who shared their professional insights into different career-related aspects, including industry trends, interview tips, work ethics, and career planning. To help students optimise their CV and job-hunting strategies, around 60 online career advising sessions were arranged.

To help our students obtain the latest information on internship and graduate job opportunities available worldwide, we organised the annual Career Fair online for the first time from 12 to 13 November 2020. Some 70 leading companies and organisations from various sectors joined the Fair, and close to 40 online career talks were conducted by employers, helping students explore their career interests and identify job opportunities. We also provided around 50 online career advising sessions and offered guidance to students in optimising their CVs and job-hunting strategies.

The Career Fair 2019 was successfully held from 19 to 22 March 2019 at PolyU. A total of 320 employers from over 10 industries and sectors (some of them listed in the Global Fortune 500 rankings) participated in the four-day Fair. PolyU also organised panel discussion, alumni sharing night, career forums, and on-the-spot career advising service with a view to helping students explore career options and identify goals.

The Career Fair 2018 was successfully held from 20 to 23 March 2018 at PolyU. A total of 328 employers (some of them listed in the Global Fortune 500 rankings) from over 10 industries and sectors participated in the four-day Career Fair. Besides the exhibition, PolyU also organised the panel discussion, alumni sharing night and career forums, and provided on-the-spot career advising service to students with a view to helping them explore career options and identify goals.

The Startup Career Fair 2017 from 22 to 23 November 2017 was held at CF and DE Podiums, aiming to let students explore their job options from the innovation, technology, design, and social enterprise sectors. Around 65 employers participated in the Fair. Alongside the two-day Fair, PolyU also organised two career forums “Entrepreneurship vs Employment” for students.

With the theme of “Shaping Tomorrow’s Talent”, the Fair, which was held from 28 to 31 March 2017, attracted participation of over 300 companies from more than 10 industries and sectors. PolyU also organised its first-ever panel sharing session, alumni sharing night, five career forums and 38 sessions of on-the-spot career advising service to the students during the four days.

Held from 27 to 28 October 2016, the Fair attracted 80 employers from the sector. Company founders and alumni shared their career stories and insights regarding their business start-ups.
With the theme of “Shaping Tomorrow’s Talent”, the Fair was held from 15 to 18 March 2016. It attracted participation of about 300 companies from more than 10 industries, and over 6,000 students from different disciplines.

Held from 8 to 11 September 2015, the Fair featured exhibition and events such as career talks, a career night and recruitment talks by CPA firms, unit trust firms and companies from the accounting, auditing, retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking, securities, and insurance industries.

With the theme of “Opportunities‧Talents‧Success”, the Fair was held from 24 to 27 March 2015. It attracted participation of over 230 companies from more than 10 industries, and over 6,000 students from different disciplines.
With the theme of “Recruit the Talents that Makes the Difference”, the Fair was held from 18 to 21 March 2014. It attracted participation of over 220 companies from various industries, and over 6,000 students from different disciplines.
Held from 16 to 19 April 2013, the Fair attracted participation of around 180 companies from various industries, and over 6,000 students from different disciplines.
