Biography

Mr Henry S.C. Chan received his BSc (Hons) degree in molecular biotechnology and MPhil degree in surgery from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, he was a researcher at the Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and worked on a project that investigated Crispr/Cas 9 mediated genetic modification of KRAS oncogene in lung cancer. He is experienced in the research on patient-derived organoid culture, Crispr/Cas 9 genetic modification, the development of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical devices and stem cell transplantation.
