Academic Staff

Before joining The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Nov 2019, Ms Pamela Chan served as a physiotherapist in Hospital Authority. She acquired her Master of Physiotherapy Studies in Cardiorespiratory specialty from the University of Queensland, Australia and has been admitted as the Fellow of Hong Kong College of Physiotherapy.

Ms Chan has extensive clinical experiences in both rehabilitation and acute settings, particular in critical care. She has rich experience in training junior staff for over 20 years. In the past 10 years, Ms Chan also served as a clinical educator in Mainland China.

While she was serving in Hospital Authority and being an educational officer in the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Group of Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association, she was heavily involved in formulating and organizing training programs in the area of critical care. She is keen to facilitate the students to bridge the acquired knowledge to the application in clinical settings upon joining the Polytechnic family.
