RISUD SFA Annual Progress Research Salon: Development of 3D Wind Turbine Wake Models for Energy Efficiency Improvement of Offshore Wind Power Generation Systems

In the last four years, significant progress has been made from the aspects of both theoretical and experimental studies of wind turbine wake model developments, wind farm layout optimization, offshore wind turbine behaviour and advanced wind energy strategies. Following the proposed aims and objectives, our research team has developed the 3-D wind turbine wake models for single and multiple wind turbines. The wake models have high accuracies in modelling the spatial wind speed distribution.
