Prof. David SHUM, Management Committee Member of Research Institute for Smart Ageing (RISA) and Dean of Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) was recently featured in an interview with Headline Daily.
In the interview, Prof. Shum underscored the commitment of PolyU to advancing the healthcare system in Hong Kong. He highlighted that PolyU has nurtured over 50,000 healthcare professionals. Apart from setting up rehabilitation clinics on campus, he shared that PolyU has collaborated with the Hospital Authority, private hospitals and non-governmental organizations to polish students’ practical skills, address the health needs of the community under the challenges of ageing population.
