Dr. LI Yuan obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China. From 2020 to 2023, he served as an independent Principal Investigator at the Quantum Science and Engineering Centre (QSec) at Nanyang Technological University. His research primarily focuses on photonic quantum computing chips and quantum communications. Notably, he has successfully demonstrated a logic gate chip for universal quantum computing and on-chip quantum access internet. With over a decade of experience in quantum information processing, integrated photonics, and quantum photonics, Dr. Li has authored or co-authored more than 15 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious journals such as Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, and npj Quantum Information. His current research interests include integrated photonics, quantum computing and information processing, and metasurface design for optical manipulation.
