The Research Institute for Large Aircraft has identified three strategic research directions—Intelligent Design, Precision Processing and Manufacturing, and Operation and Maintenance—that leverage the combined strengths of COMAC and PolyU. These collaborative areas focus on advancing key technologies essential to modern large aircraft development, from innovative digital design and intelligent manufacturing to intelligent monitoring and maintenance systems, positioning RILA as a leading hub for aviation innovation and technological excellence.
