RCMI at ASGH 2025

The Director of the Research Centre of Chinese Medicine Innovation (RCMI) participated in the annual Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) 2025, held on 26–27 May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This prestigious event brought together global leaders, policymakers, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the health sector.

During the summit, Prof. Wong’s research team played an active role, not only attending key sessions and networking events but also exhibiting the Centre’s innovative startup companies. Two RCMI spin-off companies, Wellness Phytoscience and AIM Pharmaceutical, were featured at the exhibition. Both companies showcased their latest research breakthroughs and technological advancements in the field of Chinese medicine and health innovation.

Wellness Phytoscience presented its cutting-edge developments in botanical supplements and functional foods, emphasizing evidence-based approaches to wellness and preventive healthcare. AIM Pharmaceutical highlighted its novel drug discovery platforms and recent progress in developing new therapeutic agents derived from traditional Chinese medicine.

The participation of RCMI and its spin-off companies at ASGH 2025 underscored the Centre’s commitment to translating research into real-world applications and fostering collaborations with industry partners. The event provided valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, partnership building, and raising the international profile of RCMI’s research and entrepreneurial achievements.
