Short Description

Prof. Yu Guan obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow before joining PolyU AAE as an Assistant Professor. His research has been supported by funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, and the Innovation and Technology Commission of Hong Kong, among others. He is a member of the Combustion Institute and the Aircraft Division of the HKIE. He serves on the Early Career Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Aeronautics and as a Program Committee Member of the National Young Scholar Meeting on Combustion Research organized by CSET for the 2026–2028 term.
