Dr. Zheng Xiang is Professor and Department Head in the Howard Feiertag Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Virginia Tech. His research focuses on the role of digital technologies in the hospitality and tourism industry. He serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Information Technology & Tourism (2022 Impact Factor: 9.3). He was recognized by Clarivate as a “Highly Cited Researcher” five years in a row (2019-2023) based upon citations to his work in the last decade. Xiang received a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Temple University and a Master of Science degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
