Guochao Resonance Elegance into the World
"Guochao Resonance · Elegance into the World – An Exhibition on the Contemporary Translation and Design Innovation of Chinese Opera Visual Culture" takes Chinese opera visual culture as its research subject, drawing on historical documents and visual materials while integrating contemporary digital technologies and design methodologies to explore the transformation pathways of China's traditional visual culture within modern design systems and lifestyle frameworks.
Guided by design research, the project establishes a cross-media translation platform that examines how traditional visual culture generates contemporary expressions and design systems across multiple dimensions—including imagery, products, spaces, and digital environments—through design approaches.
Structured around the theme "Historical Documents and Visual Lineages—Digital Design and Translation—Design Transformation and Lifestyle Innovation," the exhibition illustrates the evolution of Chinese opera visual culture from academic research and design translation to practical applications in products and lifestyles. Through diverse methods such as archival studies, digital modeling, virtual costumes, AIGC-generated designs, product design, and spatial displays, the project demonstrates how traditional culture is transformed into visual languages and design forms capable of resonating within contemporary society and global contexts, empowered by modern design and digital technologies.
This exhibition serves not merely as a showcase of design works but also as a research-driven exploration of "how culture enters contemporary life through design," presenting an interdisciplinary pathway spanning cultural resources, design methodologies, and industrial transformation. It offers novel design approaches and practical case studies for the contemporary expression and international dissemination of China's traditional culture.
「國潮生息·風華入世——中國戲曲視覺文化的當代轉譯與設計創新展」以中國戲曲視覺文化為研究對象，從歷史文獻與圖像資料出發，結合當代數碼科技與設計方法，探索中國傳統視覺文化在當代設計體系與生活方式系統中的轉化路徑。
展覽以「歷史文獻與視覺譜系—數碼時尚與設計轉譯—設計轉化與生活方式創新」為整體結構，呈現中國戲曲視覺文化從學術研究、設計轉譯到產品與生活方式轉化的過程。項目透過文獻研究、數碼建模、虛擬服裝、AIGC 生成設計、產品設計與空間展示等多種形式，展示傳統文化如何在當代設計與數碼科技的推動下，轉化為可進入當代社會與國際語境的視覺語言與設計形態。
本展覽不僅是一場設計作品展示，更是一個關於「文化如何透過設計進入當代生活」的研究型展覽，呈現從文化資源、設計方法到產業轉化的跨學科實踐路徑，為中國傳統文化的當代表達與國際傳播提供新的設計方法與實踐案例。
