The Hong Kong Council of Social Service said it’s working with PolyU and the Labour and Welfare Bureau to formulate standards for three categories of gerontechnology products — electric wheelchairs, exoskeleton devices and medical beds, which are expected to be introduced in the first quarter of next year at the earliest.
