By nurturing early-career authors, we seek not only to cultivate promising academic voices, but also to showcase the breadth and depth of research at PolyU to a global audience. Selected authors will benefit from professional editorial guidance and publishing support, enabling them to develop their ideas into rigorous, accessible, and influential publications.

Who Should Apply
This programme is open exclusively to members of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University community. We welcome submissions from:
- PolyU students (undergraduate and postgraduate)
- PolyU postdoctoral fellows
- PolyU teaching staff (Instructors / Assistant Professors)
Applicants should demonstrate strong potential for developing their research into an academic or general-interest book. Priority will be given to proposals that align with PolyU’s academic strengths and research focus areas.
Submission Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
- For thesis-based projects, submissions are recommended within two years of completion.
- For doctoral theses, they must be revised and adapted into a book format for a general audience (Guidelines will be provided upon request).
- Applicants are required to provide two referees (Associate Professor or above).
Selection and Support
- Submissions will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee.
- Full publication costs (editing, design, typesetting, printing, and distribution) will be covered.
- Selected authors will receive editorial guidance throughout the publishing process.
